The Smart CEO is a business magazine with a focus on management practices for CXOs. They approached us to design the cover of an important issue of the magazine where they were doing a story on Ashok Soota’s new venture “Happiest Minds”.
We took two distinct approaches to the design of the cover: one engaging and illustrated, second minimal and bold. While we loved both directions, the minimal approach carried the day and became the cover of the September 2013 issue of the magazine.
And all this (concepts to artwork) was done in 48 hours before the magazine was to go for print!
